Welcome to the fun sport of Dragon Boat Racing

Hervey Bay Dragon Boat Club Inc. is a competitive and recreational club of approximately 50 members.

New members and visitors are always welcome and age is no barrier.

We are lucky to have the pristine setting of Hervey Bay’s usually calm waters, and the sheltered Great Sandy Straits Marina for training.

Dolphins, turtles and other marine creatures are often encountered while paddling, with the occasional whale seen in the distance during the migration season.

We always make sure there is a fun element to our sport.

Competing is not for everyone - we understand that ! 

We have members who enjoy attending our training sessions, on a social basis to catch up with paddling friends.
